International Klaipėda David Geringas Cello Competition 2023 - Group B

(Group B - not older than 14 years old on the competition opening day ‒ born on 8 May 2009 and later)

International Klaipėda David Geringas Cello Competition, launched in 2017 by the Klaipėda Concert Hall to become the only event dedicated to cello music in the Baltic countries, will welcome the renowned cello masters, teachers and contestants from around the world for the third time in 2023!
International Klaipėda David Geringas Cello Competition will be held in Klaipėda on May 8 ‒ 13, 2023.
The competition is open for professional musicians and cello students of all nationalities.
Rules and Conditions.

Group B - not older than 14 years old on the competition opening day ‒ born on 8th May, 2009 and later:

Non-refundable application fee is 60 €.
Prize fund: I Prize - 400 €, II Prize - 300 € , III Prize - 200 €.
Jury members: Ramutė Kalnėnaitė (Lithuania) - chairperson, Marcel Johannes Kits (Estonia), Kyung Jun Lee (South Korea), Krzysztof Karpeta (Poland), Marius Urba (Lithuania/Germany), Răzvan Suma (Romania), Atanas Krastev (Bulgaria).

The deadline for the registration is 22 March, 2023, 23:59 Lithuania local time (UTC +2).
Official IDGCC 2023 languages are english and lithuanian.
