Zofia is a 19-year-old violinist from Poland, studying at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań with prof. Marcin Baranowski. She has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Młoda Polska Prize established by the Ministry of Culture, and the Morningside Music Bridge scholarship in the U.S. Zofia is a laureate of over 30 national and international competitions, including the Karol Lipiński International Violin Competition and the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Lublin, the Aram Khachaturian International Violin Competition in Yerevan, and the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition in Brussels. She collaborates with the European Music Centre of Krzysztof Penderecki by performing at the Penderecki Project with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and giving solo recitals as a part of the Presentations concert series. Zofia has also been a member of the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra. As a soloist, she has performed with the Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Iuventus, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the Eastgate Youth Orchestra, and the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra. In October 2024 and March 2025, she performs at the On Tour concert series by Morningside Music Bridge in London, alongside Maxim Vengerov and Timothy Chooi. She has studied with renowned musicians, including Noah Bendix-Balgley, William van der Sloot, Midori Goto, Maxim Vengerov, Donald Weilerstein and Ulf Schneider.
