Jiachen Cao is 18 years old, he was born in China, and have been learning violin for 14 years. He is currently studying at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) with prof. Ulrich Edelmann. Jiachen has won numerous prizes in many national and international competitions, including 2nd prize in a category A at the Siqing Lu ShenZhen FuTian International String Competition 2018, 1st prize in category B at the International Competition for Young Musicians “Città di Barletta” 2020, 3rd prize in the chamber music category at the III Siqing Lu ShenZhen FuTian International String Music Festival 2020, and at the Futian Cup National Youth String Elite Competition 2020. He has also achieved 2nd prize in category C at the IX ENKOR International Music Competition, 2nd prize in the violin category, age group D at the 1st edition of the String Competition Online, and 1st prize in the strings category, age group up to 18 years at the Melbourne International Piano And Strings Festival-Competition 2022. In 2024, Jiachen played as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the HfMDK at the ''Concert Podium Conducting'' series.
